Menu Cover for a farewell dinner two nights before disembarking.

Breakfast Menu on Promenade and Boat Decks.  I can taste those raspberries in cream now.

Stateroom Service.  This was slipped under our stateroom door every evening.  If we wanted to eat breakfast in our stateroom we would circle what we want and place it on our door.

The above Christmas Menu was special for a birthday celebration for Jack G. Rogers.  Not pictured are autographs of all the guests who attended.  Danny was hired to entertain on the ship for that particular cruise in an act called "Adriane and Dale."  They performed comedy and sang.  Commodore Simmons was on leave at the time.    (Courtesy of Danny Leone)

On August 4, 1946, the S.S. Brazil arrived at Pier 54, North River from Le Havre, Cobh and Southampton with 531 passengers.  It was the last crossing before reconversion from a wartime transport to a regular passenger and cargo vessel. This menu is from that crossing.  The cover is Serial No. 3 which you can see on the first Menu page.  (Courtesy of Danielle Berthiaume)
