THE STEAMSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY OF AMERICA

We were invited to speak at the Steamship Historical Society of America on Saturday, January 20, 2007, in Port Charlotte, Florida.  We set the mood with Brasilian Bossa Nova and Samba as everyone was looking through the artifacts.  As the music continued during our lunch, a slide show containing various photos during the Mooremack era was shown.  Afterwards, I gave a little talk on why we started the web site and Bill skimmed through some of the history of Moore-McCormack.  Although an enjoyable time was had by all, there were tears shed while the video was running of the New Orleans (S.S. Argentina) leaving for Alang.
