From early 1996 until Spring 2004, the University of Pittsburgh had provided the academic sponsorship and the Institute for Shipboard Education had administered the program and chartered the Universe Explorer from World Explorer Cruises.

Semester at Sea Mouse Pad. I actually didn't know where to place this because if you notice - it's not the Universe Explorer on the pad. It's the Enchanted Isle. For those of you who are not familiar with the twin sisters since their early construction, the Promenade Deck on the Universe Explorer has a large room that was extended towards the bow and had been there for several years before SAS began chartering the ship in 1996. |
