LNG House Flag.  (L) is for Lachmar which stands for Lake Charles Marine.  Lachmar is the name that the Lake Charles and Louisiana operated under (courtesy of Charles Ecker).

The ship, Louisiana is a liquified natural gas ("LNG") carrier that was built by General Dynamics in the early 1980s in Quincy, Massachusetts, for Moore-McCormack.  She and her sister ship, Lake Charles, were the last ships built for Moore-McCormack.  They were stationed in Lake Charles, Louisiana.  (Courtesy of Robert Castano.)
